FAQs

**What hunting methods do you use?**

We hunt gators, hogs, iguanas, and offer tilapia gigging and fishing trips year-round! We customize every hunt to meet your expectations. For gator hunting, we use rod and reel for an exhilarating experience. Spotting and stalking on our private property is facilitated by our side by sides and swamp buggies.

**Where are your hunting locations?**

Our primary hunting grounds are on private properties near Arcadia and West Palm Beach, Florida, where we hunt year-round. However, we have access to various other locations and adjust our hunting sites according to the time of year and the specific hunting activity. Your hunt could take you exploring different parts of Florida's rich and diverse ecosystem!

**What about licensing?**

In order to participate in the hunt, each hunter is required to purchase an Alligator Farming Agent License. This license, approximately $51.50, is valid for one year and is mandated by the state of Florida. Please note that this license can be conveniently purchased online at https://gooutdoorsflorida.com/.

Keep in mind that we sell out of hunting tags every year, so don't wait to reserve your hunt. The tag for your hunt is included in the booking fee. If you're hunting on private land, you'll specifically need an Alligator Agent Farming License. It's important to remember that guests who are only observing and not actively hunting do not need a license.

Should you have further queries about the licensing process or if you require assistance, feel free to reach out to us at any time.

**How does group hunting work?**

Whether you're bringing your family, office team, or just a friend, we're thrilled to accommodate group hunts. Our aim is to create unforgettable hunting memories for everyone involved.

**Is there an age limit for hunting?**

No, there isn't! We're passionate about introducing kids to the great outdoors. All ages are welcome.

**What clothing should I wear for a hunt?**

Comfort is key. Camo is not necessary, but feel free to wear it if you wish. Depending on the weather, consider wearing hats, sunglasses, and muck boots or hunting boots (though not required).

**How many people can come to watch the hunt?**

Spectators are always welcome at Fla Gator Hunts. Each hunter is allowed to bring one guest at no extra charge. For any additional spectators, there will be a Companion Fee of $50 per person. Please note, all additional spectators must be added at the time of booking.

**How do you handle meat processing?**

We process gator meat at $30 per foot. This includes professional skinning, processing, and flash freeze vacuum sealing to ensure optimal freshness.

**What about taxidermy services?**

While we don't directly provide taxidermy services, we partner with trusted taxidermists. After we process and salt your gator hides, they are directly picked up from our location by the taxidermist for your convenience. The cost for taxidermy services varies depending on the size of the gator and the specifics of the work required.

**How long do the hunts typically last?**

Hunts can take place at various times of the day and can be arranged to suit your schedule. On average, hunts last between 3 to 4 hours.
